Birth Pathways:
Navigating Birth with Confidence
A Small-Group, In-Person Childbirth Education Class in Groton, MA

March 7 and 14
1pm-6pm

Preparing for birth isn’t about having a perfect plan — it’s about feeling informed, supported, and confident no matter how your birth unfolds.
Birth Pathways is a comprehensive childbirth education class designed for expectant parents and their primary support person. This in-person class blends evidence-based information with practical mind–body tools to help you approach labor feeling calm, prepared, and empowered.
Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, considering pain management options, preparing for an induction, or navigating the possibility of a cesarean, this class provides the knowledge and skills to support informed, flexible decision-making.

Mind–Body Preparation
Birth Pathways includes dedicated preparation in mindfulness, breathing, relaxation, and hypnosis-inspired techniques. These tools are designed to help reduce fear, increase confidence, and support focus and calm during labor — regardless of how your birth unfolds.

What You’ll Learn

-
The stages of labor and how the body works during birth
-
Practical comfort measures and mind–body techniques for labor

Options for pain relief, including epidurals and other interventions
-
What to expect with inductions, planned cesareans, and unplanned cesareans

Decision-making tools and how to build a birth plan that feels right for you
